I have had a hesitation to become a Christian because my culture does not encourage us to have religion in our lives. I was taken to Manly Healing Rooms with a skin condition. It was a peaceful and quiet place and I met three people in a warm room. When I mentioned I wasnt a Christian, they (the team) said it is still okay to pray for me. During the prayer, three pictures came up to my mind:
1. I am in heaven, the background is pure white. I am standing at the bottom of some long stairs and God is at the top of the other end of the stairs. He is holding his arms like holding a baby, smiling and telling me with his eyes: Here is the place for you. I thought it was time for me to become a Christian.
2. Jesus is carrying a cross in a long journey. He moves slowly as it is a long and tough journey, but he keeps moving forward.
3. God is smiling with golden light in his background.
Because of the love of God I became a Christian just two days before the Beijing Olympics.

PRAISE GOD!!! GOD HAS HEALED ME!
I walked in using 2 crutches and I walked out of the prayer room without them....
God healed the muscles around my left hip and he healed the joint of my left hip. during the prayertime He also healed the pain in my neck, ribs and lower back, it was miraculous.

The wonderful day I visited the Manly Healing Rooms
I had heard of its existence through the Church which I attended and after many months suffering a severe back pain which was affecting my otherwise busy life, I decided to call in.
So glad I did. The pleasant receptionist lady sitting at a table welcomed me and suggested I sit in the waiting room until I was prayed for. I found it a beautiful serene room which was very tranquil. You could sense the relief of the people who came and went.
I found a booklet on forgiveness and reading though it I realized I needed to pray to God to help me in this area. Shortly after this revelation, I thanked the lady at the desk and walked out of the Healing Rooms healed and WITHOUT PAIN, which has not returned since (this occurred in the waiting room without NC receiving direct prayer).
Praise be to God. I thank you to those who have set up such a wonderful service as the Healing Rooms.

I was away on holidays last Christmas surfing everyday and one night I went to get up after dinner and had a shooting pain go through my achillies tendon. The next day I couldn't even walk down to the beach. I came back to Manly saw a foot specialist and was told I would have to wear a brace to bed for 2-3 months and it would be an indefinite time before I would be able to surf or do any sort of physical activity again, I had come very close to rupturing my achilles tendon.
I came to the healing room about a week later, with out any expectations, I was prayed for and when I came out of the session could not feel anything wrong with my foot or ankle, so I decided to run up the stairs at the back of my house and it was like I had a new foot and havent had any problems since. Thanks to God, thanks to the volunteers and thanks to the Healing Room - it works.

For a few weeks my right foot was painful and swollen, hindering me to walk properly. After a number of sessions (prayer sessions at MHR), I can now skip on it with a skipping rope. Halleluiah.
